Huawei E169/E160E/E1762 Slimline USB Modem Setup Guide
Step 1:
Plug in the Huawei E169/E160E/E1762 into an available USB port on your Laptop or PC.
If the installation does not automatically start, click on "My Computer" on your desktop and locate "Wireless BB" under the removable storage heading.
Double-click the Wireless BB icon to begin the installation process.
Click Next on the first screen
Step 2:
Click "I Agree" to accept the license agreement.
Step 3:
Select the installation path, or leave as is (recommended) and click Next.
Step 4:
Click "Install" to continue.
Step 5:
Please wait for the program to install.
Step 6:
Click on "Finish" to complete the installation.
Step 7:
Once installed a "Wireless Broadband" icon will be installed on your desktop. Double click on it.
Step 8:
You may see the "Enter SP Code" prompt. If prompted, enter
"999A1" and press OK.
Step 9:
Click "Connect" to connect to the 3G Wireless Broadband network.
Installation procedure is now complete.
