Connect the TP-Link Adsl2+ modem Router to the power.
Plug the phone line into the wall socket and the modem.
Plug the network cable to your PC and the other end of the cable into your modem.
Turn the TP link on and wait about 1-2 minutes for it to boot up and establish an ADSL signal. You will notice that the modem is ready to configure when the ADSL light is solid.
Open up your internet browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome.)
Once your browser is open, type into the address bar 192.168.1.1

Once loaded, the page will request a username and password.
Username = admin
Password = admin

Select Quick Setup on the left hand side.

Once you have clicked Quick setup. The following page will appear, please ensure the VPI is 8 and VCI 35 and then press the "Next" button.

On the next page you will see "Connection type". Select PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE) and ensure that Encapsulation mode is set to LLC/SNAP-BRIDGING.

Press the "Next" button and enter the following settings on the next page.
Please enter the settings below:
Username = Broadband username issued after signup
Password = Broadband password issued after signup
Leave the PPPoE service name blank
Ensure Authentication method is set to "AUTO"
MTU is set to 1480

Press the "Next" button, you will then be shown a setup summary, press the "Save/Reboot" button to finalize the changes.

You will be asked for your phone number and which lights are on, off or flashing on your modem.
Please have this information ready.
