Dialup Setup on Mac

1. This guide is based on Mac OS 10.6 but might apply to other versions.
   

2. Open Preferences and find Network (in red below)
   

1. Find your modem in the list of network devices on the left side.
   

1. Click on the drop box that says Configuration and choose Add Configuration.
   

1. Fill in the appropriate details.
   
2. If you are a Dial Up customer, use your username only.
   
3. ADSL customers wishing to use backup dialup, use the format: username@spin.net.au
   

4. The phone number to dial is: 0198333873
   
   
   

5. Click Apply and Connect.

1. If you tick the box that says: "Show modem status in menu bar", you can easily connect and disconnect from there.
   

2. Dialup is now ready for use.
